Meet the founder.
Colten Lay is a hydrologist, botanist, restoration practitioner, and GIS specialist based in Moab, Utah. His experience includes watershed monitoring, spring inventories, rare plant surveys, vegetation monitoring, ecological assessments, environmental analysis, restoration implementation, and hydrologic field studies throughout the Colorado Plateau and Intermountain West.
His work has supported federal agencies, watershed partnerships, academic research, restoration projects, and long-term monitoring efforts involving springs, wetlands, streams, upland vegetation communities, rare plants, groundwater-dependent ecosystems, post-fire landscapes, and low-tech process-based restoration.
