Meet the founder.

Colten Lay is a Moab-based hydrologist, botanist, restoration practitioner, and GIS specialist. His field experience includes watershed monitoring, spring and wetland inventories, rare-plant and vegetation surveys, water-quality work, hydrologic instrumentation, ecological assessments, and low-tech process-based restoration across the Colorado Plateau and Intermountain West.

He has contributed to agency, watershed-partnership, academic, restoration, and long-term monitoring projects in remote desert and mountain terrain.
